Kate is the director and owner of Monocle Bookkeeping, being a natural when it comes to entrepreneurial endeavors, Kate prides herself in creating a business where her valued staff can work from home and manage their own time schedule. Working closely with small to medium businesses to provide an in depth cash flow and budget management service is Kate’s forte, providing meaningful reports and support to our clients to watch them achieve their ultimate goals.
When Kate isn’t crunching numbers and playing around in excel, she can be found out and about on her rural property near Hartley where she runs a Horse and Greyhound Sanctuary. Check out Elysian Fields Sanctuary to fall in love with the rescue animals in her care.
Vickie started with Monocle Bookkeeping back in 2013, when we were just finding our legs as a brand new business. Vickie has been with us through the ups and downs, supporting our clients through some of their toughest times and always being there with unwavering support ready to jump in and help when needed.
Over the years Vickie has handled the accounts for fitness studios, health care providers, childcare centers, retail operations, tech companies and various other businesses. Vickie specialises in our complex clients that require solutions to their not so straightforward bookkeeping needs.
From intricate payroll calculations through to cash flow reporting, Shopify and Deputy, Vickie will handle your bookkeeping requirements with ease.
Sarah has been with us here at Monocle Bookkeeping since 2013 and manages all of our client BAS, IAS, Payroll tax, Fair Work and ATO queries. Sarah keeps us all in line and makes sure lodgements are processed accurately and on time. Sarah started with us not long after Vickie and we wouldn’t be where we are today without her consistent and refreshing can-do approach to her clients bookkeeping needs. Sarah is our resident ATO and GST rulings expert, when she isn’t working hard on her clients files she is searching away on the latest ATO changes that could affect our clients.
Sarah manages our law firm clients using LEAP software alongside Xero to complete monthly trust balancing and reconciliations, ensuring that our clients are always compliant with trust account legislation.
Korena is our newest bookkeeping in the team starting in 2019 (yep, just before the madness of the Covid outbreak!) Korena has completed her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting and has taken on one of our biggest clients who has thrown many challenges her way over the last few years. Korena has become quite the expert using Salesforce alongside Xero to manage her clients sales invoicing, debt collections and outgoings. Korena enjoys helping our clients with staff and people management, organisation, customer service, reconciliations and collecting in those hard to get debtors! If you need someone to help you organise your business from top to bottom, Korena is your gal!
